Nicole began working at Croydon Osteopathy in 2008. She completed her initial studies in dance at Deakin University in 2004 prior to completing a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Osteopathy, qualifying as an osteopath from RMIT University in 2008. Nicole worked as an anatomy demonstrator and tutor for the medical sciences department at RMIT University between 2007 and 2011. From 2009 to 2014, Nicole performed with a contemporary dance company in Australia and overseas. She has also contributed to research, publishing and presenting her work. Nicole’s background in both performance and research helps her understand that optimal physical function is essential for creative expression in performance as well as daily life. She particularly enjoys using the gentle (indirect) techniques and wholistic approach that osteopathy encompasses, to help patients of all ages and states of health achieve their health and movement goals. She continues to update her skills by attending professional development seminars in the fields of obstetrics, pediatrics and indirect osteopathic techniques. When not at work, Nicole enjoys spending time with friends, exploring the bay and sailing.
