Dr. Vanessa D’Cruz
Vanessa graduated from RMIT University after completing a five-year double degree in Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy) and Bachelor of Health Science. She was drawn to osteopathy for its holistic, patient-centred and evidence-based approach to healthcare. Vanessa has a strong interest in managing chronic pain and complex musculoskeletal conditions, shaped by both personal and clinical experiences. During her studies, she developed her clinical skills at the RMIT Health Clinic, as well as in sports settings, aged care, and chronic pain clinics. Vanessa is passionate about supporting patients through hands-on manual therapy and tailors treatment plans to focus on restoring function and promoting long-term wellbeing. She is dedicated to empowering patients through education and rehabilitation, working collaboratively with them and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team where required. She values compassionate, inclusive and culturally sensitive healthcare, striving to create an open, respectful and supportive environment where patients feel comfortable, heard and confident throughout their recovery. Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys playing and writing music, creating art, practising yoga, hiking, and spending time in nature.
If you have any questions about how osteopathy can help you or a family member, please call the clinic on 9725 1488 or email Vanessa directly at vanessa@croydonosteo.com.au.
